Pearson is a giant in global education – the world’s largest learning company, with 30,000 employees and a 1000-strong portfolio of products and services. Evolving from an educational print publisher to a digital and services-led learning business, they needed a new customer-facing master brand to help them stand out from the competition, unify their portfolio and tell their story to the world. As their key copywriting partner throughout this huge global rebrand, we worked closely with their internal team, lead creative partner Together Design, and a host of other expert collaborators.
Our work encompassed everything from establishing their broader brand language principles, to honing the smallest details of copy. Along the way, we developed and defined their tone of voice, sharpened up their messaging, and helped them communicate their story across a wealth of collateral. The launch was a colossal project, and a huge success. We then provided copywriting support for the following three years, supporting the global rollout across everything from print, digital and film, to physical environments, internal comms, training, guidelines and much more.
