We love working on food packaging; it’s so satisfying to glimpse your work as you wander the aisles of your local supermarket. When we heard about Bacon Jam, we were intrigued. With an authentic back story and a thoroughly moreish flavour, clearly it had potential. So Together invited us on board, and soon Bacon Jam relaunched with beautiful new packaging and point of sale materials.
Finding inspiration in Bacon Jam’s East End origins and lip-smacking meatiness, we developed a raft of charming messages to give it some attitude and communicate its unique story, taste and versatility. The rebrand was a huge success, helping Bacon Jam woo the press and secure a coveted place on the shelves of Tesco and Waitrose for its now expanded line-up. To cap it all, our work gobbled up a Gold award at the Design Effectiveness Awards 2014.
